We – James and Rose – purchased Ancarraig Lodges in late 2015, and have been working hard ever since to renovate and refurbish them to make them as welcoming and as well appointed as possible.

Many of our guests have historically come here year after year, so we really hope whether you are a returning guest or coming to us for the first time, you like the changes and improvements we have been making over the last few years! There are plenty more developments to come over the months and years ahead, so be sure to let us know your ideas of things you would like to see here in the future.

We’ve been lucky enough to win Best Accommodation in the Inverness round of Scotland’s Business Awards 2018 and 2019, and were runner up in the 2018 Scotland’s Outdoor Leisure Awards for the category of Best Self Catering Accommodation, and we’d like to thank our guests for their support these past few years!

In 2020 we were awarded the HotelsCombined Recognition of Excellence Award, LuxLife Magazine’s Best Country Retreat Accommodation - Scottish Highlands and have been named a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Winner in 2020, 2021 and 2022- which means we are in the top 10% of hotels worldwide! Most recently we have won LuxLife Magazine’s Most Tranquil Self-Catering Accommodation - Scottish Highlands and achieved Booking.com’s Traveller Review Awards 2022.
