Part-Time Operations Assistant 

LOCATION: Ancarraig Lodges, Bunloit, Drumnadrochit, IV63 6XG.

PAY:                          High blended rate: £13.50 per hour for support work, and £30 per lodge clean (£20/hr equivalent)

Plus £500 Monthly Guaranteed Minimum in the low season, with lodge cleans payable on top

Ancarraig Lodges is hiring a dedicated Part-Time Operations Assistant to support our Lodge Manager. This unique role offers premium incentive pay for cleaning and financial stability for support work.

About Us: Nestled in the picturesque hills of Loch Ness, we offer 12 high-quality self-catering cabins, providing guests with a unique and memorable escape. As the owners transition to remote management, we are building a dedicated team to ensure impeccable standards and seamless guest experiences. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant to support our Lodge Operations & Guest Relations Manager.

The Role: The Lodge Operations Assistant plays a vital supportive role, focused on administrative tasks, guest communication, and data management to ensure the smooth running of our booking and guest relations processes alongside hands-on cleaning of the lodges under a separate pay bracket. This position directly assists the Lodge Operations & Guest Relations Manager in maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency, and provides a diverse, flexible role.

The Hybrid Role and The Secure Pay

  • Tiered Earnings: Earn a flat £30.00 per lodge (which is £20/hr equivalent based on the average of 1.5 hours per lodge) for high-standard cleans, and £13.50 per hour for all managerial support duties (admin, stock runs, linen processing, QA checks).

  • Secure Income: During the low season (Nov–Mar), you are guaranteed a gross pay of £500.00 per month, conditional on fulfilling a minimum of 37 hours of scheduled support work. Any changeover cleaning undertaken is paid in addition. 

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Your schedule is variable: Workdays and hours fluctuate weekly based on our changeover schedule and business need, and will be arranged via a roster and will include some weekend work. Part time hours could suit a range of circumstances.

  • We set a maximum of 3 lodge cleans per day from this role, ensuring quality is maintained.

  • Presentable appearance is essential.

Essential Requirements: Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required (mileage for work-related trips will be reimbursed at the HMRC rate).
