Snow: Compared to the rest of the UK, we get a lot more snow! You’re guaranteed to be able to find snow on your visit, for example in the Cairngorms, and you might just find yourself waking up to a magical winter wonderland in your Lodge! We get snow every winter without fail, it’s just a question of when!

Blue skies: Believe it or not, winter in the Highlands boasts a huge number of crisp sunny blue sky days, with a lovely nip in the air but a warmth on your face. We get much less rain in the colder months!

The Log Burner: Without doubt, our guests’ favourite feature of the cabins is the Log Burner, but in the summer there’s not always a need to use it. In the winter, it really comes into its own, making the lodge super, unbelievably mega cosy!

All of our self catering lodges have an open plan lounge/kitchen with dining table, a well equipped kitchen with conventional cooker and microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, a cosy log burning stove, a bathroom with over bath shower and a private outside veranda with further dining facilities.

Bed linen and towels are provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival, and we have a free supply of logs.

Oh, and we love DOGS so all lodges are pet friendly! There’s a one-off pet fee of £15 per pet per stay.
